so, i finished mucking with CSS stuff, the gimp, etc and have the new layout mostly ready for consumption. I’ll continue tweaking a few things here and there, but i’m mostly done with it. let me know how it looks in IE, i’ve not tested it at all on for that stinking pile of poo of a browser.
no, i’m not one of those apocolypse nuts, i’m just excited cause i finished my italian oral and my presentation for my honors class today, which is the beginning of the end of my career as an nyu undergrad! i gotta study for my italian written part which is thurday and work on my paper for my honors class now.
they kicked bobst boy out of our library and gave him free housing til the end of the year, his story here and his blog here. only at nyu.
by now, i’m sure all of you (all of you == the nobody that reads this so far) have noticed that stacey can’t not leave a comment on my blog posts. One might thing this is a bad thing, but seeing as her comments are the only comments at all on this blog, i’m pretty okay with it.
drobbins sent an email out today saying he was leaving gentoo…. makes me very sad. the FUD on slashdot and osnews about it is already in full swing, making me sad that i sometimes visit those sites at all… oh well.

Today i get to continue making graphs and stuff for my wave analysis presentation. i think i may use my GTK# traffic thing anyway, even though i haven’t finished the intersections… ARGGHH!!! oh well.
i realized that this work on GUI stuff is actually pretty fun, although if i had to do GTK stuff in C i might kill myself. thanks to all the mono and crew people for there work, it really is good stuff. after school is done i may take a stab at helping out with the Gst# stuff for the multimedia end of things. we’ll see, kinda depends on the whole “job” thing. ugh.
pie is the best thing since sliced bread. tonight stacey and i made a “chocolate bar pie” from a recipe my boss gave me… it is *so* thick and deliicious… satan himself would be proud of how sinful it is.

Nothing beats enjoying a big bowl of Oh’s at 2AM on a saturday morning. Was up working on my wave analysis presentation (oh boy! creating boring graphs with octave and gnuplot!), fixing yet another security issue with ipsec-tools (DoS from malformed ISAKMP packets this time), and getting f-spot working against gtk-sharp from CVS. I’ve been very impressed with the C#/GTK# stuff. This may finally get me off my *ss to do some coding on GUI apps. We’ll see.

well, i spotted wordpress when someone in #gentoo-laptop on freenode linked everyone to a picture of his newly pregnant significant other…. looks pretty cool, so i figured i’d give it a shot. here goes nothing. i’m gonna get to seeing what all i can customize soon.
